Master Data is acknowledged as a critical component by the executive level, which is why, we are part of the most significant programs in Falck. To fuel our ongoing digital transformation, we are seeking a highly motivated and result-oriented Senior Master Data Business Analyst to join our team. Your role will be crucial in covering business needs and ensuring successful analysis and documentation, while driving the adoption of MDM practices, and improving processes to deliver high-quality data. We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering value through data and is eager to contribute to our organization’s growth and success. You will be part of a team consisting of 10 colleagues.

About the job

In your new position as a Senior Master Data Business Analyst, you will be working with:

• Requirements Management: Understand business goals, derive master data ambitions, unveil hidden data needs, and translate them into data requirements. Participate in delivery of requirements and act as quality assurance. 
• Data Analysis: Lead cross-functional business and data analysis, coordinating within the team and with other teams. Uncovering pains and identifying opportunities. 
• Governance: Implement global Master Data Governance and data standards across business units and markets. 
• Business Engagement & Stakeholder Management: Ensure close alignment with business stakeholders, Subject Matter Experts and Master Data Owner/Stewards. 
• Support Stewardship Community: Actively engage with Master Data Stewards, facilitate meetings and Domain Master Data forums. 
• Quality Monitoring: Create and utilize quality dashboards to facilitate conversations around the quality and to collaborate with stakeholders to ensure uplift

About you

• We are looking for a senior profile with a high drive and curiosity to enable better Master Data Management and Master Data Quality. 
• You enjoy engaging with stakeholders and translate business needs into relevant master data deliverables. 
• You are comfortable working with requirements related to processes & organization, systems & integrations and especially data quality. 
• You are good at planning and coordinating deliverables. Some you will manage and develop yourself; others will be co-created together with colleagues in the team. 
• You are used to incorporating many perspectives in your work, you consider the end-to-end impact and the full data flow. It comes natural to you, to ask ‘why’. 
• You have a strong focus on impact and business value. If you have experience connecting data use cases with measurable business impact, it will be an advantage. 
• You have proficiency within Data Management and Data Governance. If you have experience within Master Data Management, it will also be an advantage. 
• You know your way around Power BI and know how to use it as input for dialogue on data quality.
• You have worked with modern data management tools or MDM platforms. 
• You strive to work smarter by embracing digital opportunities whether it is using our own Falck GPT to support your work, automating data cleansing with robots, or improving data entries by applying data quality assurance practices. 
• You have great experience in working between business and IT. Maybe you have worked as a Data Analyst, Senior Business Analyst, or Data Governance Specialist. 
• The ideal candidate has domain knowledge across the entire value chain; commercial, operations, financial, HR and other group functions.

The Data function is where data is turned into information in Falck. We are four different teams working with: Data & Analytics, Master Data, Strategic Automation and Power Platform & AI Services. In the entire function we are 90+ data specialists working in Copenhagen and Warsaw.
