​​Business Analyst to the Data & Analytics team

Summary

​The Data department is a global team with members in both Warsaw and Copenhagen. As a Business Analyst, you will be based in Copenhagen and play a key role in our journey to enable our business to become even more data-driven.  

​ 

​In the role as Business Analyst, you will bridge the gap between the business and technical teams by understanding the business needs and translating them into technical requirements. You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and an ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders. You will play an important role in ensuring that milestones are delivered successfully. In the role you will specifically cover the Ambulance Europe business area, where you will be instrumental in turning data into value for stakeholders across this domain. The Ambulance Europe business area is delivering Patient Transportation and Ambulance Medical Services in Spain, Sweden, Germany, and Denmark.

​Proficiency with Power BI is desired, as the role involves data profiling and data exploration. 

 

About the job

​​As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for: 

  • ​Identify and document business requirements by working closely with stakeholders and subject matter experts. 
  • ​Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications. 
  • ​Act as a liaison between the business and technical teams, ensuring that requirements are clearly understood and implemented. 
  • ​Identify and document any potential issues or risks and provide solutions to mitigate them. 
  • ​Develop and maintain project documentation and ensure that it is up to date. 
  • ​Build Power BI reports and analyze data to produce insights.  
  • ​Facilitate communication between the different teams and stakeholders involved in the project. 
  • ​Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including non-technical stakeholders. 
  • ​Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies. 
  • ​Informal leadership of other less senior team members 

 

About you

​​To be successful in this role, you should have: 

  • ​Minimum 3 years of experience working as a Business Analyst in data teams or in software development.
  • ​Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in identifying and documenting business requirements, translating them into technical specifications, and identifying and mitigating potential issues or risks.
  • ​Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience in working with cross-functional teams and non-technical stakeholders.
  • ​Experience in developing reports in Power BI or other BI tools.
  • ​Ability to adapt to fast changing environments.
  • ​Strong time management and prioritization skills, with experience in leading or mentoring teams.
  • ​Strong ability to work with different cultures and backgrounds and understanding customer needs​.

​​​The Data department is a fast-growing function in Falck Digital Technology, playing a key role in leveraging data & digitalization. We are four different teams working with: Data & Analytics, Strategic Automation, Master Data, and a Power Platform and AI. In the entire function, we are around 100 data specialists working from Copenhagen and Warsaw.
